I have the honor of living in one of the greatest cities on earth, Manhattan. I live here with my amazing husband ~ McMorg and adorably cute Ewok dog~ Wickett. But, I grew up in the only double hyphenated town in the country, Ho-Ho-Kus, Nj. I have a head full of big curly hair and love to wear glasses. I watch movies with the lights on, love to go to thrift stores while on vacation and take road trips no matter the final destination. My mother is crazy, but also my best friend. I went to summer camp as a young girl and can play Jewish geography with the best of them. I studied fine art photography in college at UNM ~ where the light is always amazing and the land is full of enchantment. I have a husband who loves me even though I can be a bit bossy.
I love what I do because it makes my heart fill with joy to know that the beautiful images I create for my people will make them happy every time they look at them. I always get asked, “Do you mind working on the weekends?” My answer, “Why would I?! I am with people on the happiest day of their lives, getting to share the day with them… they look gorgeous, I go to a great party, listen to great music, watch them laugh, cry and every other emotion in between… I would never be anything else but what I am.” A wedding photographer.

I met Kirsten and Chris through Christine at Exquisite Affairs Production and it was a match! I am SO glad that Kirsten and Chris let me be part of their amazing day… which took place over in Brooklyn, where they live. The took their photos over at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and then had their reception over at the AMAZING Skylight One hanson (which is where Brooklyn flea sets up shop in the winter). Anyways, their wedding was amazing and Kirsten and Chris are 2 of the NICEST people I have ever met! This is another special one for me… see Lindsay, Was my first ever friend when I switched from private to public school way back when in 3rd grade… Yes that is how long I have known Lindsay. So when she and her now husband Matt asked if I could photograph their wedding, I was so excited… only to find out that I was already booked! However, Roee my wonderful associate photographer was still free and happy to step up to the challenge of photographing such a special person for me! He thankfully also had a wonderful 2nd, Vanessa ~ who I ALSO grew up with and has known Lindsay even longer!! So while I couldnt be there, V was there for me… It was a gorgeous day over on Mallard Island, which is on LBI ~ where Lindsay spent parts of her summer every year… and the photos look beautiful. I just LOVE this slideshow My cousin Marnie got in touch with me about a month ago after seeing a bunch of my family/kids sessions and asked if she could set something up for her and her ADORABLE daughter Danielle (who yes, is also my cousin Soooo I was able work something out and woke up VERY early this past Sunday morning to drive on down to Long Branch NJ for some early morning beach fun with Marnie and Danielle. This slideshow just melted my heart… I really enjoyed seeing the special bond that Marnie and Danielle have and it really made me think of my mom and I and what I might have been like at 4 years old. Thanks SO much Marnie for asking me to be part of these special moments and I cant wait to do it again ~ and bring the rest of our family into it all!!! XOXOXOXO ~ Stacey

For my Birthday I decided that I wanted to attend an event hosted by L’Oreal down in South NJ. The event was a day for the dogs! It is called Your Dog is Worth it Too and all the proceeds of the event went to Breast Cancer research… so that made it even better! I asked my good friend Julia and McMorg to come with me. So the 3 of us, Wickett-Monkey and his little buddy, Elvis all jumped in the car on Saturday Morning and heading out to Cranbury, NJ. It was a great day I had a blast meeting all the pups and put together a cute little slideshow of it all! ENJOY!!
I am starting Monday (also my Birthday!) off with a BANG! I have a fabulously beautiful wedding for you ~ Sara and Eric. Sara and I went to High School together.. so it was super fun with she asked me to shoot her wedding! In addition, it was even MORE fun that 3 of her 6 bridesmaids were also from NHRHS! I always hear that people from Jersey seem to hold onto their friendships that took place in grade school and/or high school ~ and it has proven to be true with many of the people I can see from where I am from (ok, sorry side note!) ANYWAYS, Sara & Eric had a BEAUTIFUL wedding at The Foundry in Long Island City Beforehand I met up with Sara and her ladies at her friend’s apt in Tribeca ~ also the same building she and Eric are moving into after their honeymoon… we then took photos in NYC and after some great cobblestone and graffiti streets headed over to LIC for a wonderful and amazing ceremony and reception! I met Heather this past November at her sister Tara’s wedding . I was so honored when Heather then contacted me shortly after seeing Tara’s photos and asked me if I was able to shoot HER wedding as well! Well here I am with fabulous photos of the gorgeous Heather and her wonderful new husband James ~ as well as more great photos of the King Family ~ whom I adore! There is this wonderful group of mommies and babies that live in or around Sty-town in NYC… and I have been fortunate enough to be taking a bunch of their family photos recently! I have a wonderful friend who lives in my old building in the city. Her name is Maya Katz and she is co-owner of AliMayEvents who are there for any of your fabulous and AMAZING planning needs from baby namings to weddings.. A-MAZ-ING! Anyways, when her client the beautiful Anne needed her to plan the pending arrival, RUBY! Maya suggested I come and take a mini-Newbie session as well as capture the party and the baby naming ceremony for Ruby Sarina! Laure is the sister of Vanessa, one of my oldest and closest friends… so when she got engaged to Chuck ~ I was so happy and excited for her.. and then when she and Chuck asked me to photograph their wedding, I was SO honored that I got to take part and share in their day and capture all the fun that was going to take place! They had a unique wedding weekend with a more private ceremony and dinner at Laure’s childhood home in Ho-Ho-Kus and then the following day was the PARTY on the Intrepid ~ yes, you heard me.. the BIG ASS BOAT that sits on the West Side Highway in NYC… THAT Intrepid!
