I have the honor of living in one of the greatest cities on earth, Manhattan. I live here with my amazing husband ~ McMorg and adorably cute Ewok dog~ Wickett. But, I grew up in the only double hyphenated town in the country, Ho-Ho-Kus, Nj. I have a head full of big curly hair and love to wear glasses. I watch movies with the lights on, love to go to thrift stores while on vacation and take road trips no matter the final destination. My mother is crazy, but also my best friend. I went to summer camp as a young girl and can play Jewish geography with the best of them. I studied fine art photography in college at UNM ~ where the light is always amazing and the land is full of enchantment. I have a husband who loves me even though I can be a bit bossy.
I love what I do because it makes my heart fill with joy to know that the beautiful images I create for my people will make them happy every time they look at them. I always get asked, “Do you mind working on the weekends?” My answer, “Why would I?! I am with people on the happiest day of their lives, getting to share the day with them… they look gorgeous, I go to a great party, listen to great music, watch them laugh, cry and every other emotion in between… I would never be anything else but what I am.” A wedding photographer.

I was so excited when LisaMarie got in touch to tell me she was engaged… you see, 3 years ago I shot her best friend Heather’s wedding (who is now pregnant!!) and met LM. So it was very special for me to get to share in Lisa’s day as well! It was a blast to share in all the fun they had their day… I got to ride the subway with Jackie and all his guys and we took photos in one of my most favorite and cherished parks in NYC, Washington Sq. Park…then we all headed over to The Puck Building for their ceremony and reception! Hi Guys, Happy Monday! I have an adorable baby shoot for you this AM! The other week I had the opportunity to spend some time with Brody ~ who is named in honor of his parent alma-mater and how they met, Rhody ~ from URI and his lovely mommy and daddy, Jen and Mike over at their place in Stuy Town ~ where Jen also grew up! I have a super cute baby session for you all to enjoy today! 3 years back I shot the wedding of Jayme and Ken, Jayme is my dear dear friend (like my 2nd mom) Ilene’s niece. I have since then become quite close with Ilene’s family.. her sister Merrie and her husband Eli and their 2 kids Jayme and Corey.. WELL… Jayme and Ken about 6mns ago had an adorable little girl, Samantha.. and I had the pleasure of photographing her over at Merrie and Eli’s this past tuesday! Ilana and Jon are a fun one. I met Ilana years ago when she was room mate during a summer college program at University of Wisconsin… we were soph0mores in HS! Anyways, we lost touch after a few years and through the magic of Facebook, reconnected! After she and Jon got engaged they made the trip from Boston one weekend to meet with me about photographing their wedding.. and well, here we are with photos in hand! About 2 weeks ago Vanessa and I spent a hot (as many have been recently) Saturday with the lovely Tara and Chris photographing their super fun energetic wedding. Their ceremony took place a church on the UES and then we all headed over to Gantry Plaza State Park (which for anyone interested, you need a permit..even if nyc.gov tells you you dont.. since it is a STATE park!) BUT, we were lucky.. Chris had 2 NYC police in the Bridal Party and the parks people gave us a LITTLE bit of give time because of it… ANYWAYS, we had a blast taking some photos down at the waterfront then we headed over to their venue, watersedge for some more photos and for their reception! BTW, isnt Tara’s dress fun! She got it at the Bridal Garden which donates money from each sale to charity.. love it! While I always shot this stuff as well as weddings, I would really like to make them more and more of an essential part of my business so that people can enjoy their photos from different aspects of their lives and not just their wedding day! Not sure how many of my readers know it, but McMorg and I moved this past March into a place of our very own! We bought a condo in E. Rutherford NJ (its where the Meadowlands are) and have been spending A LOT of time working on making it our own rather then the cookie cutter place it could be if we didnt put our own personal touches on it! Sooooo below are a few photos from some of the rooms for you all to see and enjoy! There are still things we need to do but it is almost there! Wedding season has forced me to put a hold on finish decorating the bathrooms and tiling the kitchen backsplash, but that’s ok! ENJOY!!!
